The chief mission of Hof-Musici (“Court Musicians”) is the historically informed performance of works related to the Habsburg Empire in the 18th century. Since their foundation in 1991, they have enriched our understanding of Baroque music with a host of modern premieres. With opera a key part of their repertoire, the ensemble has been regularly featured at Český Krumlov’s world-famous historical Baroque theatre since 1995.
