Soap&Skin is the alias of Anja Plaschg, a spectacularly talented Austrian singer-songwriter who fuses classical music with electronic pop in an original and artistic manner. Following a long interlude, she released her new record in late October 2018. Captivating, ethereal, and richly ornamented with classical instruments, the chamber-pop of From Gas to Solid / You Are My Friend is still redolent with originality and innovation: Soap&Skin perseveres in her own direction.
