With a repertoire covering musical styles such as operetta, gipsy music and classical music, Budapest’s very own Danube Symphony Orchestra headlines this grand spectacle of a Christmas concert. Starring professional ballet dancers and the city’s best operetta soloist, the performance also serves as a confirmation that music and dance is inseparable.
Listen to the evergreen classics of Liszt and Strauss in the interpretation of a symphony orchestra, members of the Budapest Operetta Theatre, ballet dancers and folk musicians, including a master of the classic Hungarian folk instrument, the “cimbalom”.
