The construction of St James Church was started in the 14th century. Its sanctuary and some parts of the aisles are the earliest parts. Between the benches the gravestone of MÁria Széchy, whereas next to the altar dedicated to St Benedict the red marble tombstone of Miklós Jurisics's children (1538) can seen. The medieval paintings (St Christopher, the Magi scene, the Madonna of the Cloak) are the earliest pieces.
